Shredding important papers courtesy of San Antonio Federal Credit Union (SACU) here is becoming something of a tradition.
The credit union hosted this city's 3rd Annual Shred Day, a public service event at five of its branches, on Saturday, April 16, one day after tax day. The public was invited to bring up to 100 lbs. of personal papers per vehicle to the branches. The event was sponsored by the San Antonio Chapter of ARMA International and the professional shredding companies Marshall Shredding, DocuGuides, and Iron Mountain.
The companies will provide equipment to shred documents on site, without charge. Donations to ARMA will be accepted and appreciated.
