NEDERLAND, Texas – 5 Point CU donated $10,000 to the graduation ceremonies at local Bridge City High School.
Officials with the credit union decided to offer the funding because the high school’s graduation was threatened by financial problems.
"We heard this and thought it would be a really great opportunity and a great cause," said Erik Shaw, president of 5 Point. "What better way to give back to the community than to give the kids some place to go on graduation night."
