ABILENE, Texas – Abilene Teachers FCU broke ground yesterday on a two-story building here that will serve as new headquarters and a branch for the $270 million credit union.
Construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of next year.
The estimated cost of the project is $4.5 million.
The credit union has four branches in Abilene, including one at its current headquarter, which will remain open as a branch.
