MASON CITY, Iowa – Ace Community CU has implemented Dwolla’s online, mobile, social and location-based cash platform that connects users through a social community to share and spend money.
Ace Community members will be able to access Dwolla through the Ace Community website at aceccu.com. After signing up for a Dwolla account, members will be able to make payments to or receive money from anyone with an e-mail address, as well as their Facebook and Twitter friends.
In addition, members will be able to download the Dwolla mobile application, which allows users to make payments via their smart phone. The app also allows a user to access Dwolla Spots, a feature that displays a map of Dwolla-accepting merchants based on their smart phone’s current location.
