DUNEDIN, Fla. – Achieva Credit Union has been approved to receive $127,000 in incentives to choose this city as the home of its new corporate headquarters.

The Dunedin City Commission has OK’d matching grants and the waiver of fees to incent the credit union to move its headquarters from Clearwater, Fla. Achieva has already started to remodel a former Nielsen Media Research call center as part of a three-phase development plan. The agreement requires Achieva to stay at least five years and to provide receipts to collect its funds through reimbursement.
The credit union has requested, but the city has yet to approve, a name change for Virginia St. to be renamed as Achieva Way.
