DALLAS - (03/24/06) -- Entrust Inc. filed a patentinfringement suit Wednesday against Addison Avenue FCU claiming thecredit union giant implemented an online authentication system thatinfringes its grid authentication patent. The Entrust patent coversall methods for online log-on some form of grid authentication withor without an accompanying password. Entrust claims the $1.8billion credit union deployed its online authentication technologywithout a license from Entrust. The suit was filed in U.S. DistrictCourt for the Northern District of California. An official with thecredit union said they had no comment on the suit at thistime.
