WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.-Recession or not, credit unions that plan to be around in 2010 and beyond must grow during 2009, and Credit Union Journal has now unveiled the agenda for a conference aimed at helping them achieve just that.
Credit Union Journal's Grow Show, set for April 27-29 in San Diego, will dedicate three days to just what the name implies: strategies for growth. With the agenda drawn from real-life credit union success stories, the always popular Grow Show will highlight best practices in growing lending, membership, SEGs, plastic cards, service and much more.
As always, the conference will include opportunities to interact with speakers and other attendees to gain additional growth insights, with a special session also scheduled with more than a dozen solutions providers, all of whom will be prepared to talk about how they can further help drive growth. Grow Show will offer attendees several tracks to choose from to further deliver information on their precise areas of interest.
The meeting, set for Coronado Island's iconic Hotel del Coronado, just across the bay from an Diego, will kick off with one of the most dynamic and challenging speakers: Brett Chirstensen. Christensen will answer the question of whether it is still possible to grow earnings in these tough times? The answer is yes, he says, but it may require credit unions to "try some new strategies."
Other speakers will include Rocky Clancy of JD Power & Associates, and representatives of USA Federal Credit Union, Seattle Metropolitan CU, HAPO Community CU, DFCU Financial Credit Union, MAX Credit Union and others, each bringing their perspective on effective ways to ensure your credit union keeps growing.
