CHICOPEE, Mass. – Aldenville CU said it has contributed $23,500 to the Chicopee Fire Department to help them buy a CPR machine and a thermal-imaging camera, both life-saving equipment. The CPR machine, a Zoll Medical Autopulse, provides automatic, consistent CPR compression to patients. The credit union’s gift will allow a second ambulance to be equipped with the machine. The thermal-imaging camera, one of four purchased by the fire department, lets firefighters see clearly through smoke.
