PAW PAW, Mich. – Allegis CU and the Paw Paw Optimist Club have teamed up to collect school supplies for needy students during a ‘Friends of the Youth’ backpack fundraiser. The drive runs through Sept. 8 and seeks donations of any available school supplies for students in grades six through 12. The Paw Paw Optimist Club was founded in 1974 in downtown Paw Paw to provide assistance for kids in the area.
