Allpoint Network added five of the largest U.S. credit unions in 2015, and now counts 24 of the 100 largest CUs as members of its automated teller machine network.
Allpoint, a Houston-based subsidiary of Cardtronics, established new relationships with a total of 84 financial institutions last year.
The new members include five of the largest CUs:
- the $6.1 billion-asset Alaska USA FCU in Anchorage.
- the $2.3 billion-asset Keesler FCU in Biloxi, Miss.
- the $4.1 billion-asset Lake Michigan CU in Grand Rapids, Mich.
- the $2.1 billion-asset Langley FCU in Newport News, Va.
- the $5.2 billion-asset Teachers FCU in Hauppauge, N.Y.
As credit union members visit branches less often, and use mobile and online banking tools more often, Allpoint's network helps CUs meet demand at less cost, buy offering surcharge-free ATMs, Allpoint's managing director, Bill Knoll, said in a news release.
