AltaOne Converts to Episys Core System

RIDGECREST, Calif. -- AltaOne Federal Credit Union announced that it has selected Symitar's Episys to replace its aging core system.

The $617 million-asset credit union said in a press release Thursday that the Episys platform will enable it to implement third-party systems in a completely integrated environment, capitalize on missed opportunities, and execute new projects that meet its standards.

Moreover, the system will help the CU to discover untapped efficiencies and continue to diversify its member-facing offering at a competitive rate.

"We are comfortable going into this conversion and confident that we have found a strategic relationship that will not only provide the solutions and service we need in the short term, but deliver a sophisticated, flexible core experience well into the future," Robert Boland, president and chief executive for AltaOne, said in the release.

Ted Bilke, president of Symitar, said Episys "provides AltaOne unmatched scalability, integration, and the agility to go to market faster with solutions that differentiate the credit union in the markets it serves."

AltaOne serves more than 53,000 members. Symitar provides integrated computer systems for more than 800 credit unions of all sizes.
