AltaOne FCU Gets New System From Voice Smart Networks

RIDGECREST, Calif. – AltaOne FCU has completed a multi-year, multitier voice system makeover at its 11 branches from Voice Smart Networks.

Voice Smart Networks said it aligned the accounts to take advantage of more competitive agreements, cleaned up unsolicited fees, provided complete lines analysis (removal of unused or no longer applicable lines), obtained credits where warranted, handled all trouble ticket and billing issues, as well as realigned cell phone plans and the multiprotocol label switching services to assure proper use and associated charges.

The credit union said it realized a cost savings in excess of $30,000 in the first four months, and expects to save another $5,000 a month once the MPLS services are renegotiated.

Voice Smart Networks spearheaded a migration strategy for AltaOne away from the credit union’s existing Nortel system.
