TEMPE, Ariz. – It didn’t take long for one of the newest members of Altier CU to realize the benefits of credit union membership--$3,000 to pay for his gas for a year.

Patrick Mayville recently moved to Arizona from California and took out an auto loan with Altier. He came in to Altier’s Tempe branch to make a payment and was told about the promotion by a member service representative and opened a checking account that day.
Everyone who opened an Altier CU checking account during the two-month period was eligible for the drawing.
With his $3,000 in winnings, Mayville opened an Altier CU Money Maker account and a CD.
The grand prize was based on 15,000 annual mileage, 21 mpg and four dollars per gallon cost of gasoline.
