OGDEN, Utah – America First FCU has signed with Alogent Corp. to implement the company’s Sierra Xpedite and Sierra Xchange teller deposit automation systems as an image-enabled automation strategy, the $4-billion credit union said yesterday. The aim is to transform the current teller operations model to one that converts paper checks to images at the teller line in real time. The 500,000-member credit union plans to deploy Alogent’s Sierra suite across its 75 branches, providing image-enabled automation for more than 500 tellers across the state.
