American Airlines FCU Gives Away Cars to Boost Business

FORT WORTH, Texas – American Airlines FCU said it awarded one lucky member a 2007 Ford Escape hybrid, one of five vehicles the credit union giant is giving away to help increase sales. The credit union’s “Road to Success Sweepstakes” offers members an entry into a drawing for one of the five vehicles by opening one or multiple new accounts or products. The first winner was Kenneth Phelps, a retired American Airlines pilot and a credit union member since 1955. The sweepstakes began July 1 and will run through Nov. 30. The $4 billion credit union will be giving away one new vehicle each month until then, including a Ford Edge, Chevrolet Silverado, Chevrolet Tahoe and Toyota FJ Cruiser.
