SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. American Southwest CU held a grand opening for its expanded offices, a two-story addition to its original building, adding 14,000 square feet of new space.
To mark the celebration of the grand opening, the $125-million credit union’s seven branches conducted a drawing for three 0% loans for a new or used vehicle, which were awarded to three lucky credit union members.
American Southwest said among the amenities found in the expansion are an open floor plan, handicapped accessible entrances, and offices that for the most part are on the outer ring of the building which, in the case of the upper floor, means magnificent views of the surrounding Huachuca Mountains.
This is a change for many of the building’s employees, who previously were housed in the basement of the main office.
