MECHANICSBURG, Penn. – AmeriChoice FCU said it has been accepted as a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh, the bank’s 27th credit union member.

Membership in the FHLB supports the $170 million credit union’s liquidity by providing access to the FHLB’s line low-cost loans (advances), which can be used for community lending, general asset/liability management and financing.
The Pittsburgh Bank claims 294 bank and credit union members in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Delaware.
