Anheuser-Busch Employees’ CU To Charge Electric Cars

ST. LOUIS – Anheuser-Busch Employees’ CU has installed a dual Level II charging station in preparation for the continued rollout of electric vehicles in the area.

“Installing the charging station is just one step in the credit union’s initiative to ‘go green,’” said Dave Osborn, president of the $1.3-billion credit union. “As consumers try to save resources and limit their carbon footprint, we feel the charging station is a great way for our members and non-members to charge their electric vehicle while promoting environmental responsibility.”

The station offers:
• Two fast-charging connectors
• Internet connectivity, allowing it to be located using computers and smart phones
• Data collection about energy use, emissions and fuel savings
• Connection to a smart grid
• Controlling access for credit union officials

Campbell, Calif.-based Coulomb Technologies produces the ChargePoint Charging Station.
