Another CU Hit By PhishingExpedition

ODESSA, Texas - (04/13/05) -- Complex Community FCU said some ofits members and non-members were victimized by 'phishers' lastweekend who gained access to personal financial and accountinformation by e-mailing information requests that appeared to befrom the credit union. The e-mails directed people to a link inwhich they were asked to provide credit union and credit cardinformation, Social Security numbers and other private information.The credit union received calls from non-members all over thecountry notifying them they had been contacted. No members reportedany financial losses.
