Apple FCU Raises $33,000 for Cancer Fund in Golf Tourney

FAIRFAX, Va. – Apple FCU’s 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament raised more than $33,000 on the green for the American Cancer Society.

Proceeds earned will benefit cancer research, educational programs and patient services provided by ACS, a cause for which Apple and the Apple FCU Education Foundation have raised more than $155,000 since the tournament’s inception.

Fifty area sponsors and more than 125 players took part in the annual event held on June 10 at Reston National Golf Course, Reston, Va.
