DEER PARK, Texas – Associated CU has broken ground on a new 30,000 square-foot office project, which will house 150 of the $250 million credit union’s employees.
The new headquarters will features is a "cool roof" system meant to reflect the sun’s rays, keeping the building cooler and reducing demand for electric power by up to 10% and will meet the environmentally friendly Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design standards.
An arched window design will allow natural light to complement indoor lights, requiring fewer bulbs, and landscaping will be "drought tolerant."
