VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - (12/07/05) -- Atlantic FCU is on a losing streak,of sorts. The credit union's S. Independence Blvd. branch wasrobbed Tuesday morning, for the third time in the last 18 months.In each case the suspect is described as white, in his mid 50's,about six-feet tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with a pot belly.Tuesday's suspect implied he had a weapon but never showed one,police said. The same branch was hit in April 2004 and again thispast August.
