ATM ISO Hires Investment Bank To ShopCompany

PONTE VEDRA, Fla. - (05/10/06) -- Global Axcess Corp., the operator of5,000 ATM in 42 states, announced Tuesday it has hired investmentbank Raymond James to assist with plans to explore strategicalternatives, including joint ventures, mergers or a potential saleof the independent service operator. Although the Company hasreceived expressions of interest, no party has made an offer atthis time. Global Axcess is the parent of Nationwide MoneyServices, which provides co-branded ATMs to 80 credit unions andcommunity banks across the country. The company reported a loss of$700,000 for its fiscal 2005.
