SAN ANTONIO -- Two suspects disabled a surveillance camera and then used a blow torch to try to get inside an ATM at a Randolph Brooks FCU branch early this morning but fled before they were able to get inside the machine when they were spotted by a security guard.
The security guard attempted to stop the thieves, but they escaped and remained at-large.
Police said the security officer has been patrolling Randolph Brooks branches after someone recently tried to break into an ATM at the location on Culebra.
Investigators believe the same men are responsible for several recent ATM break-ins.
