CHICAGO - (01/05/06) -- EFMARK Premium Armored and BantekWest Inc., two of the leading servicers of ATMs, announced plans tomerge on Wednesday. The combined companies will form one of theleading providers of ATM hardware sales, maintenance, cleaning,armored services and cash management, as well as maintenance ofbank computers, teller cash dispensers, recyclers, and tellerplatforms. The two companies will operate as wholly ownedsubsidiaries of a new holding company that will continue to beowned by current shareholders of the companies. The holding companywill adopt a new name later this year and all services will bemarketed under the new name. The merger will create a nationalfootprint of 75 armored branches located in 43 states.
