Aurum Personal eBanking Service Rolls Out

Aurum Technology Inc., a provider of information technology (IT) services to community and mid- tier financial institutions, has launched the Aurum Personal eBanking Service, its new online consumer banking product suite. Noting that a January 2002 TowerGroup report found that more than 65% of banks with less than $1 billion in assets have not yet launched Internet banking services, Aurum said that many of its customers were putting off an Internet banking solution based on third-party products, and noted its new product is closely integrated with its core solutions.

Aurum selected Financial Fusion as its partner for Personal eBanking, with Aurum acting as an application service provider, hosting the Internet banking application at one of its data centers, and providing credit unions access to the application over a private network.
