GLENDALE, Ariz. – Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for a team of at least three armed robbers who hit the same branch of First CU twice in recent weeks.
The three heavily disguised thieves held-up the ranch on June 17 and again last Thursday, making off with a substantial amount of cash both times, police said.
Surveillance video shows the first of three robbers walking into the credit union with a shotgun during the first hold-up. A second robber follows and a third gunman enters with a cocked semi-automatic handgun above his head and starts yelling orders.
The robbers were disguised with several layers of clothing, black or blond wigs, sunglasses and gloves, according to police.
The three robbers then carjacked a member in the parking lot, and fled in that person's vehicle, a silver Dodge that later was recovered a short distance away.
