Bank Branches Become CU Outlets

CommunityAmerica CU has acquired two full-service bank branches in Hy-Vee supermarkets and has converted them to credit union service centers.

The branches, in Prairie Village and Independence, were bought from Midwest Heritage Bank.

The state's biggest credit union, with $1.5 billion in assets, already operates branches in two other Hy-Vees, in Independence and Kansas City.
