SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – STCU CU has hired Michael Ostrowski, a 30-year veteran of financial services, as president and CEO of the $115 million community credit union originally known as Springfield Teachers CU.
Ostrowski, currently senior vice president of Barre Savings Bank, will replace William (Bill) Brothers, who is retiring later this month.
Ostrowski also has served as chief lending officer at Springfield’s Freedom CU, and worked at Ludlow Savings Bank, Multibank, United Co-operative Bank, and Pioneer Financial Co-operative Bank.
