‘Barefoot Bandit’ Bagged

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A man suspected of robbing a New Mexico Educators FCU branch in bare feet Monday was arrested Wednesday.

Georges Hyatt, 45, is suspected of being the heavily tattooed, barefoot man who put a handgun on a teller’s counter and demanded money, before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The Albuquerque Police Department’s Repeat Offender Project team arrested Hyatt at a motel in the city Wednesday.
