BECU Offers Mobile Wallet

TUKWILA, Wash. - BECU plans to introduce a mobile wallet to its members in the first quarter of 2009.

The service, being launched through Firethorn Holdings LLC, will allow members of the $8-billion credit union to check their account balances, transfer funds and view and pay bills through their mobile devices. Future service capabilities will include more advanced mobile transactions and mobile commerce.
