SEATTLE – BECU last week held a grand opening for its newest branch, which is in the underserved neighborhood of Lower Queen Anne.
The $8.6 billion credit union marked the Queen Anne grand opening by presenting donations to local non-profits Plymouth Housing Group and Queen Anne Helpline. Plymouth Housing Group operates several affordable housing complexes in Seattle (including one in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood). Queen Anne Helpline provides a variety of support services to low-income, elderly and disabled community members.
