TUKWILA, Wash. – BECU said yesterday it has acquired 50 newly introduced NCR SelfServ ATMs with no-envelope deposit capability.
The SelfServ machines were introduced just last week and are self-repairing, which means they repair minor deficiencies.
The deal also includes NCR’s Gasper Vantage management tools for the remote management of the cash machines, APTRA Edge software and services.
The 50 machines will add to the credit union’s 150 NCR ATMs in the Seattle area.
Gas prices are rising as a large swath of consumers are already under pressure, which could eventually affect demand for credit.
The share of American households considered "financially vulnerable" rose to 17%, the highest level since at least 2018, according to the nonprofit Financial Health Network.
The bank was determined, by multiple industry rankings and experts, to be the best mobile banking provider in the U.S.. Bank of America took second place.
