Bellco CU Launches Mobile Banking By iPhone

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. – Bellco CU this morning rolled out a new mobile banking service provided by ClairMail that offers banking by iPhone, text banking and a mobile-optimized website @ m.bellco.org.

Bellco’s mobile service allows members to check account balances, transfer money, view transaction history and set up account management alerts. Bill payment options are included with the iPhone app and mobile website, which features branch locator information and easy viewing of current loan rates.

The $2 billion credit union partnered with ClairMail to create its mobile banking platform. During the final development phase, Bellco completed a series of rigorous security and usability tests, requesting additional customer feedback to further refine the features and functionality of the platform in advance of the public launch.

Members who already use Bellco online banking may take advantage of the new mobile banking services by enrolling online via Bellco’s website or on their phones. Members may also enroll through the new iPhone app that is available to download from the Apple iTunes Store. Enhancements to mobile banking functionality, such as mobile check deposit and other smart phone applications are planned for release later this year.
