BizKid$ Rings Closing Bell At The NASDAQ Stock Exchange, CUs Get Boost In Times Square

NEW YORK-Representatives of BizKid$, the credit union-sponsored financial literacy TV program aimed at kids, and credit union supporters rang the closing bell last week at the NASDAQ stock exchange. As part of the event, BizKid$ video aired at EST market close for 30 seconds on the NASDAQ Tower in Times Square, as did the America's Credit Unions logo.

BizKid$ was featured as part of Financial Literacy Month. Representing BizKid$ were several of the kids who appear in the series that airs on PBS, Jamie Hammond and Jeannine Glista of the Biz Kid$ production team, Roxanne Kruger-Monahan of the Washington Credit Union Foundation (which developed and oversees BizKid$ in partnership with the National Credit Union Foundation; Candice Areia of the New Jersey league; Diane Lavigna Wixted of the New York State Credit Union Foundation, and John Gibardi of Entertainment Industries FCU from New York.
