WASHINGTON-Bluepoint Solutions has launched a rental program that allows credit unions to try the firm's document management tools with out any capital expenditure.
Bluepoint VP-Strategic Parnerships Ron Pease said the rental program is essentially a no-risk trial that can be canceled at any time for now charge. "It allows you to try and buy," he said.
"If a credit union decides it want to convert from the rental to a full purchase, they can do that," added Erin Coleman, Bluepoint VP-strategic account management. "This let's credit unions see the operational efficiencies and money savings, but they spend no capital to do it."
Coleman noted that the firm continues to see strong interest in its products because of the potential cost savings and efficiencies to gained by moving to image capture. In particular, credit unions are showing increased interest in consumer capture, in addition to the longer-standing branch and teller capture.
But Bluepoint recognized the issues credit unions were facing and decided it had to do something. "This was a direct response to what's going on in the economy," Pease said.
