GREENSBORO, N.C. – The FBI is hunting for two or three men who have robbed as many as eight credit unions and banks since July 2006, including a branch of Piedmont Aviation FCU twice.

The robbers have been dubbed the ‘Bluetooth Bandits’ because one of them had a Bluetooth wireless device in his air during at least two of the hold-ups. Authorities believe they were using the device to communicate with accomplices during the robberies.
The robbers used a variety of disguises to cover their identities during the heists and escaped in different getaway cars.
