TUKWILA, Wash. - (01/18/06) -- Boeing Employees CU announced it hasimplemented Corillian's Intelligent Authentication multi-factorsystem for online transactions. Intelligent Authentication uses apatent-pending, multi-layered approach to authenticate online usersby examining and tracking multiple patterns of online behavior andvarious non-personal attributes of the user to determine when it isnecessary to block or challenge suspicious visitors. It is a 'zerofootprint' solution that requires no distribution of hardware,software or spyware-like tracking objects. The system is geared tobe compliant with the new federal regulatory requirement that allfinancial institutions adopt a multi-layer authentication system bythe end of 2006.
