WILKES-Barre, Penn. – A Brink’s truck driver who stole $70,000 bound for W-Bee FCU will serve four months in prison and another four months on house arrest, a judge ruled Thursday.

Robert Tint, 36, an employee for the security company for 14 years, pleaded guilty in April to bank larceny.
On May 31, 2007, Tint was driving an armored car containing $70,000 in $20 bills, all of which was scheduled to be delivered to W-Bee FCU. Instead, Tint took the money and stored it in a closet at his home.
Tint, who brought money to the courthouse Thursday to begin repaying the $70,000 he stole, will report to prison on Aug. 11.
