KENMORE, N.Y. – The former chief financial officer for Buffalo Fire Department FCU on Monday pleaded guilty to stealing $132,000 from the credit union.

Eve Hutchison, 44, was released on her own recognizance after she pleaded guilty to a pre-indictment charge of fourth-degree grand larceny for the theft from the credit union.
Hutchison, who lost her job as chief financial officer of the credit union last year for unrelated job issues, faces a possible prison term of up to four years when she is sentenced Sept. 17, the prosecutor said.
The former executive admitted to a series of thefts of funds from June 1999 until June 2004 to pay off personal debts. Her crimes were not uncovered until after she was terminated by the credit union last year.
