Alliance Opens Cashless Branch
FENTON, Mo.-The $183-million Alliance Credit Union has opened a new branch that has no traditional teller lines and is cashless. Instead, members sit down with "personal service representatives" to discuss their business. The facility also includes an ATM at which cash can be obtained and which can accept loan payments. The branch will have extended Saturday hours.
3Rivers To Build $15M HQ
FORT WAYNE, Ind.-3Rivers FCU has broken ground on a new headquarters, part of a $15-million project. The new HQ and the renovation of its current corporate office on the site will provide space for 3Rivers to more than double its staff to 153 employees, and will include green building elements to match the LEED Silver Certification Level, with window and roof systems that provide lots of natural lighting and energy-efficient electrical and mechanical systems. 3Rivers said the facility will also have a campus feel from open space, casual outdoor seating areas and a walking trail.
generations Opens 5 Store Branches
SAN ANTONIO-generations FCU opened five new branches inside H-E-B Grocery Stores over a 62-day period. The new in-store locations, all full-service and open six days a week and brings its branch network to 14.
SAC To Build New Headquarters
BELLVUE, Neb.-The $575-million SAC FCU plans to build a $20-million headquarters in Papillion, Neb. The property sits adjacent to the Shadow Lake Shopping Center and includes five acres; SAC FCU has also signed a purchase agreement with the City of Papillion for approximately five additional acres. The new corporate HQ will contain 90,000 square feet, a branch and ATM, and will initially house 150 staff.
Centris FCU Rolls Out Kiosks
OMAHA, Neb.-Centris FCU has entered into a partnership with Nexxo Financial Corp. to reach out to underserved consumers using service kiosks. The machines will be able to cash checks, sell money orders and prepaid cards, transfer money, top up phone minutes, and allow consumers to pay bills and withdraw cash. The multi-lingual kiosks will be available at existing locations and new sites.
