GLENDALE, Calif. – California CU on Friday said in recognition of its 75th anniversary, it is increasing the number of $1,000 college scholarships it will award this year to 75.
The credit union was chartered in 1933 by a small group of teachers and now counts more than 75,000 members and $1.2 billion in assets.
The scholarships are open to anyone who is a graduating high school senior and is a member of the credit union.
