California CUs Spared In Heavy Rains, SoFar

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. - (01/02/06) High winds and rain have been whippingthe state of California with more such weather over the longholiday weekend, but the California Credit Union League said nocredit unions have been adversely affected by the weather system.While the system is expected to battering portions of the statethis weekend, CCUL said one thing credit unions have going in theirfavor is the New Year’s holiday being observed on Monday.“So far, it hasn’t been a problem for credit unionsthat we know of,” the league said, but added, “itreally all depends on just how much rain we end up getting, and wewon’t know that until Tuesday.”
