LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. - (05/04/05) -- Canon USA said it has unveiled a newCR-55 Check Transport, a compact, countertop scanner system fordata and image capture. The new machine is aimed geared to limitedworkspaces, like teller stations, corporate Account Receivablesdepartments, or retail checkout counters. The CR-55 allows users toquickly feed up to 50 items at a time and automatically capture androute data form both sides at speeds up to 55 checks perminute.
