COLONIE, N.Y. CAP COM FCU on Tuesday night received final approval to build a new three-story, 118,400-square-foot office here.
The city planning board approved the $1-billion credit union’s site plan for the new headquarters, a mile away from its current offices.
CAP COM says it needs a new headquarters to consolidate its administrative staff and accommodate growth.
CAP COM initially wanted to build on land owned by a local car dealer in nearby Latham, but that deal was called off a year ago.
