Tim Carlisle has been appointed president and CEO of Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union, a $224 million institution based in Myrtle Beach, S.C., succeeding Jerry M. Miller, who will retire in June.
"The Carolina Trust Board of Directors made an excellent choice in selecting Tim, and I feel confident he will lead the Credit Union to a future of long-term, sustainable growth in the markets we serve," Miller said in a statement.

Since joining Carolina Trust in 2010, Carlisle has held a number of different positions at the credit union, including VP of lending and branch operations, and SVP/chief operations officer.
He has more than 23 years' experience in the credit union industry, having previously served as VP of loss mitigation, branch manager, collections manager and loan officer with State Employees' Credit Union, now a $35 billion entity based in Raleigh, N.C.
Carlisle earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina-Coastal.
