GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Carolinas CU Foundation has awarded separate grants of $17,500 to the Billy Hardy Home for Boys and of $10,000 to Generations Group Home.

The Billy Hardee Home for Boys, located in Darlington, S.C., is a 24-bed residential program for boys ages 12-17 from various social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds.
Generations Group Home, which houses up to 58 boys ages 10-19 who are caught in a cycle of abuse, will use the $10,000 to purchase and install security gates and fencing for their campuses.
