The $240-million San Antonio City Employees FCU (CECU) has added an additional layer of security to its laptop computers through a biometrics and user keystroke recognition solution provided by BioNet Systems and its BioPassword product.
CECU said it selected BioPassword because it integrates seamlessly with its operating system- allowing network administrators to quickly authenticate users without installing and configuring additional hardware on each computer. BioPassword affords users access to system resources only after they are authenticated by two-factor identification: the traditional password and the biometric recognition of the unique typing keystrokes of the individual entering that password.
