KENMORE, N.Y. - The former chief financial officer for Buffalo Fire Department FCU pleaded guilty to stealing $132,000 from the CU.
Eve Hutchison, 44, was released on her own recognizance after she pleaded guilty to a pre-indictment charge of fourth-degree grand larceny for the theft from the credit union.
Hutchison, who lost her job as chief financial officer of the credit union last year for unrelated job issues, faces a possible prison term of up to four years when she is sentenced Sept. 17, the prosecutor said.
The former executive admitted to a series of thefts of funds from June 1999 until June 2004 to pay off personal debts.
