WASHINGTON — The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau recently appointed eight new members to its Credit Union Advisory Council.
The council, which includes 16 executives from across the country, is responsible for advising the CFPB on issues facing credit unions with assets of less than $10 billion.
The appointees include Robert Faulk, president and CEO of Purdue Federal Credit Union in West Lafayette, Ind.; Jason Lee, chief financial officer at Orion Federal Credit Union in Memphis; Robin Loftus, chief operating officer at Heartland Credit Union in Springfield, Ill.; James McDaniel, president and CEO at Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union in Charleston, S.C.; Robin Ramano, CEO of MariSol Federal Credit Union in Phoenix; Ronald Scott, president and CEO of Appalachian Community FCU in Rogersville, Tenn.; David Seely, president and CEO of Kirtland Federal Credit Union in Albuquerque; and John Winne, President and CEO of Boston Firefighters Credit Union.
All eight appointees will serve a two-year term on the advisory council.
